New Zealand Underwater offers three types of membership
Associate Membership.
Active scuba divers, spearfishers and underwater enthusiasts who wish to enjoy the benefits of NZ Underwater membership while contributing to the work in safety, environment and participation that the organisation does on their behalf.

ENVIRONMENTAL MEMBERSHIP.
Environmental Membership is tailored for non-active underwater enthusiasts who are passionate about the marine environment and are wish to make a small formal contribution to the Association to support its work.

FULL FINANCIAL MEMBERSHIP.
Full Financial Membership is offered to all current members of NZ Underwater affiliated clubs. The discounted allows members to enjoy the tangible benefits of NZ Underwater membership while directly contributing to the Association's on-going work.
